The house was inspired by a pavilion with the dominant motif being 4 retaining walls that penetrate the building and hold the roof. The walls are covered with kurkar, a stone that is very typical of this area. The wall cladding also on the inside of the house connects the outside to the inside and creates an openness and connection to the plot on all sides.
